Avon Heath Country Park

Situated near St Leonards just south of Ringwood the Park is accessed via a minor road off the main A31 from the roundabout near to the St Leonards Hotel. This is very easy going terrain with many well defined tracks etc. Please be aware that you will have to pay for the car-park though but at least there should be plenty of space.

This was an exceptionally popular foray in 2022. We may will be joined by non DFG members as we were the last time we visited a few years ago.

Please note that this area is an SSSI and we will NOT be collecting for the kitchen, just a selection for the identification table after the walk.
