Fascinated by Fungi Pat O’Reilly First Nature 2012 3 978-0-9560544-3-2 A superb book quite unlike most fungi books
Need to Know Series – Mushroom Hunting Collins 2006 13-978-0007215072 A small but excellent book
Mushroom Miscellany Collins 2008 13-978-0007284641 Not a guidebook and not too many photographs, this book delves into some of the folklore surrounding fungi.
Field guide to Edible Mushrooms of Britain & Europe New Holland 2010 978-1845374198 A good starter guide with some excellent photographs of edible (and some poisonous) familiarly encountered fungi.
Mushroom Picker’s Foolproof Field Guide Southwater 13-978-1-84215-817-3 In an A4 format and deals with edible and poisonous mushrooms. Very large photos but without recipes.
Complete Mushroom Book, (The Quiet Hunt) Antonio Carluccio 1-844000-40-0 A4 format, hard back, lots of detailed recipes. Could be a suitable present for someone interested in mushrooms.
