A DFG favourite for many years.From Poole head up along the A349 in the Merley & Wimborne direction from the Darby’s Corner roundabout towards the Gravel Hill traffic lights.

Look for a well concealed entrance to the wood on the left just before you reach these lights.

Turn in to this narrow track and keep going to the car-parking area by the cricket field.

Plenty of room for a dozen vehicles or more as long as you get here in good time. It fills up with dog walkers etc very quickly!
