From the Bournemouth/Poole direction head towards Blandford Forum.
From the Blandford St Mary roundabout on the outskirts of the town take the A354 signposted towards Dorchester. On arriving at the village of Winterbourne Whitechurch, (approx 5 miles) take the Milton Abbas turning right in front of the now closed pub. Continue along this road for 2-3 miles, but ignore the left turn for Milton Abbas village. Keep going until you reach a sharp right, go left at this point signposted to Bulbarrow. Continue for about a mile and park on the west side of the road near a conspicuous forestry gateway (there is a solar panel in a green box- it’s a water table measuring point containing a solar panel).
